Is there universities or teams that would train genuine sword strategies from the medieval times, with a longsword?

i would like to help you but you are in the wrong section,unless you are gonna use a sword that looks like a pencil or a brush im useless.
and it depends where you live give a bit more detail next time.

Try Schola Saint George. They teach Italian longsword of Fiore de Liberi following the original texts.

The biggest advantage of the SCA is it’s the biggest. It’s the group most likely to have a local chapter near you. In terms of authentic techniques, it may not be what you are looking for. Some of the rules are written with safety in mind more than authenticity. For that reason, some people look at SCA fighting as more of a combat sport than a historical martial art.
