Surely there the two top killers, but if there’s another weapon what killed 100s of thousands of people please let me know

Winter and cold enviroments have killed more people than both of those combined.

  1. There were only about 100 million people in the whole world when the Gladius was in use by the Romans. The AK47 and its imitators have been used to kill people for 50 years or more and continues to be used to kill people all over the world. I’m sure the AK47 in the hands or soldiers, rebels and criminals has killed many times the human beings what the Roman military did using short swords.

  2. Unknown for sure. The sword was used for much longer than the AK-47 has been around. Certainly more people have been killed by guns, but the AK-47 is not the exclusive gun used to kill. There have been 75-100 million AK-type rifles built, (though not every gun has killed), so if you want to include ALL AK-TYPE rifles, odds are they would be #1. If you are only using the AK-47 as a specific gun, I’d say the sword probably killed more over hundreds of years.
