    There are rust removers that you put on a cloth and rub on something that is tarnished and it will remove the brown. You can usually get these at hobby stores…like Hobby Lobby.

    Don’t want to do that if it is originally old. Value would drop considerably. dry Dust it. That is all.

    I use this stuff in a tube called MAAS. I bought it at Wal-Mart in the cleaning isle. I use it for all my tarnishing needs. It brings it to a brilliant shine and it lasts a long time. I used it on my metal wedding cups 2 years ago and they are still stirling. A little of this stuff goes a long way.
