Toledo Gown is a stunning recreation of the dress worn by Eleanor of Toledo during her last rituals. As wife of the Grand Duke Cosimo I of the Italian Medici family . Eleanor held a prestigious status in society which reflected in her luxurious clothing style. This stunning master piece is created in the USA using yards of very fine fabrics; cotton velveteen . satin and trim. The sleeves of this gown are adorned with twenty eight pearl buttons and slashed to reveal the poufs of the silk chemise. The corset helps to flatten and lift the bust line while the optional bumroll and the hoopskirt create the illusion of a smaller waist. You may order the silk chemise . bumroll and hoopskirt separately. Dry clean only.
