Is this good/inventive?
Issue by Aurora Belle: Is this good/inventive?
For English class, our assignment was to write a inventive paragraph with the theme of “the circus” and use the adhering to Beowulf vocabulary words: scabbard, hilt, moors, hoary, unsheathed, kinship, reparation, mail, to purge, and reprisal. This is mine…it truly is just intended to be innovative or whatever, I don’t know. Explain to me what you feel! Many thanks a ton.
I have been to the circus only one particular time in my existence. I was 9 several years aged, and I did not even want to go. My father took my brother and me just to purge his conscience, since he felt guilty about not doing things with us extremely frequently. He mentioned the trip was to strengthen our kinship so we would be a closer family members, but truly he was using us in reparation of all the things he hadn’t accomplished with us in the previous. As shortly as we obtained there, I knew it would be an exciting day. We had driven to the middle of nowhere, and the tent was set up in the middle of the moors! It was not your common colourful circus tent, either. As a substitute, it was this terrible hoary shade, some sort of white-grey mix. There had been two clowns standing exterior the tent, each wearing coats of mail. They seemed more like knights than clowns. As we approached, the clown with the orange hair produced a sword from driving his back again. It was still in the scabbard, so he unsheathed it and sliced the air with it. My family and I stopped, because we had been scared to get any nearer. The other clown, the one with the purple and green hair, achieved more than and grabbed the hilt of the sword, ripping it from the orange-haired clown’s hands. He proceeded to wave the sword in his face as a taunting. In reprisal, the orange-haired clown tackled the clown with purple and green hair, and the whole thing erupted into a sword fight, proper there in entrance of the circus tent! My dad determined this was just also unusual, and we went home. That night on the news, there was a report on the information about the armor-clad clowns we had witnessed. They were not clowns right after all they had been homeless guys who supposed to steal money from anyone who arrived to the “circus.” The genuine circus had when been in that location, but it had left the week prior to, something these two men knew and apparently employed to their benefit. Their costumes ended up a mix of items left guiding from not only the circus, but also the medieval pageant a number of weeks in the past ahead of. The information that we were so shut to getting conned by a few of homeless guys genuinely set a damper on the enjoyment of the circus for me.

Wow, was that a true story? Ha!
This is actually cool. I just would not use “as a taunting” — it appears awkward. Consider rephrasing it, like “He taunted the orange haired clown by waving the sword in his experience.”
