This model must be a size -0 or have a super tight corset, because the actual costume didn’t look anywhere near as good as this. The lacing does not give that effect at all. The material was very cheap looking. Sorry!

I am so bummed. The only thing it said it didn’t come with was the headband-it doesn’t come with a dang chemise-damn it. My party is in 3 weeks and I have to order an additional part! Thanks for not clearly stating that I needed an additional piece. I normally spend 3x this amount of $ but I thought I would try this for my theme. Needless to say it is a mistake I will never do again.

I bought this for my daughter’s birthday, and she adores it!

In person, it’s a beautiful deeply saturated jewel tone red (and not bright a fire red like the picture). It has ties at the tops of the shoulders and front of the bodice. The fabric is a light stretchy “crushed velvet” polyester that is usually used for costumes. The loops for the laces are a(woven)black bias binding tape/ribbon, that seems to work really well for light use costumes. I suggest lacing the bodice from the top down so the bow hangs off the bottom, as it should.

To fit my daughter (who is 5ft tall size 8 dress, A)the “standard size” just needs a little hemming on the bottom (between 2-3 inches)and a tiny tuck at the shoulders to fit her perfect, but it still works and looks very good.

My wife (who is 5ft 5in, size 12 dress size, B+) actually tried on the same “standard” size one, and it fit her pretty well without any need for adjustment.

We’re pretty happy with the costume, and it arrived two days early on top of that. Thanks!
