Bill and Lori at a Lomac Halloween party. She’s wearing a variety of costume pieces from her film, many of which started out as complicated underwear for ladies… , I’m wearing the gold brocade jacket I made from a curtain using one of Nick’s jackets as a pattern back when I turned 19, with my Renaissance Faire pants (sewn using some appropriately nondescript brown woolen blend. I’m using Lori’s trademark sip/petticoat hem lace for the lace cuffs to match my jacket. I suspect the anarchic side of her was amused by piling lace slips around some boy’s neck for a movie costume… but the effect was quite nice.

More appropriate shoes for the renaissance faire. These are leather moccasins my dad got me from Tennessee years ago, and I didn’t want to wear them until I cut off the fringe about a week ago. They are comfortable, and I love the way they look on my feet.
