Hah, I was that for Halloween last year. Try Hot Topic they have a good selection for those type of things.
i would just get my size, and if its too long, cut it. its just a halloween costume it wont matter if u cut it.
One of the main things of Halloween is making your costume out of things you already have. But stores had to take all the fun out of it.

Pirate! the costume is easy. Those kind of people do it themselves too. Just go to value village and get knee high striped socks black pants of some sort to roll up a tattered black shirt with a red or white one underneath an eyepatch(duh) a hook (duh X’s 2) and you can duct tape a stuffed parrot or monkey to your shoulder. You can even take a little peice of foil and cover your front tooth.. just be sure not to swallow it when eating all of that candy… dont forget eyeliner- EXPECIALLY on the bottomb lid

here’s one: pant your face all up with red and black in some kind of jagged strip pattern, wear black clothes and use fake blood to make them look bloody and full of slash and cut wounds, do your hair red with long and thin spikes, get a pair of those fake pointy ears and paint them red and black to match your face, and carry a fake weapon of some kind, anything, just choose one. I guarantee that you will be very scary, you can probably scare people if you sneak up behind them. you could probably make little kids wet their pants.
