“She asserts the words include the name “Jesus Nazarene” in Greek, proving the text could not be of medieval origin because no Christian at the time, even a forger, would have labeled Jesus a Nazarene without referring to his divinity.”
“The shroud bears the figure of a crucified man, complete with blood seeping out of nailed hands and feet, and believers say Christ’s image was recorded on the linen fibers at the time of his resurrection.”
are you kidding? They show blood seeping out of his hands?

I think this “discovery”, just as any other modern day science “discovery”, has an agenda behind it.
Science has moved from finding evidence and creating a hypothesis for it, to creating a hypothesis and searching for a evidence that will confirm it. This isn’t just for this religious discovery, it applies to all science today. It has to do with how scientist are funded now…there is no money in observation and making discoveries first and then working to explain them. You now get money by making a claim with no evidence, then someone who agrees with your claim gives you money to find evidence.
Modern science is broken.
