What is an additional title for medieval helmet plume, plumage of feathers?

Query by Ymmo the Heathen: What is an additional name for medieval helmet plume, plumage of feathers?
You know, the large tuft of feathers on the leading of helmets. 1 title is plume, but there is one more heraldic term for it.
Cristian, individuals are varieties of medieval helmets.
elmjunbur, crest is the entire coat of arms and shield. Plumage on the leading of the helmet is just a very small aspect of it.
dansmith, i seemed up “crest” but it failed to actually aid me. I assume there must be one more term. Oh nicely, thanks anyway.

    How about crest

the crest can also refer to the actual plummage on the top of an actual helmet
