Other Medieval Weapons

Zombie apocalypse is the Biblical Apocalypse. No conflict. What’s your selection of weapons? Contemporary or historical?

Query by capekicks: Zombie apocalypse is the Biblical Apocalypse. No conflict. What’s your alternative of weapons? Modern-day or historical?
Chain mail, outdated vogue plate armor created with 21st century components or contemporary kevlar human body armor?
Mosberg riot shotgun?
A medieval mace or war hammer?
Would a taser have any influence at all?

Are you prepared??

Yes! I have a bulletproof vest(not that I need it against bullets) an axe and a .50 Desert Eagle.

An oxygen tank, a Molotov, and an Assault rifle. Oh yeah, and pain pills and a health pack.

Don’t want my HP getting too low.

WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING, FRANCIS?!

    (Left 4 Dead jokes FTW.)

Body armor would do nothing but slow me down. I think a semi-automatic rifle would be the best bet with firearms, although I would definitely keep a machete ot two with proper sharpening tools just in case hand to hand combat is necessary. I don’t hink a taser would affect the living dead. Seeing as they feel no pain.

Yes I am prepared. I know the warning signs and I have already preassembled a small group and we have already designated jobs and supplies each person is responsible for.

Well depending on the type of zombie,
if they are fast zombies like in L4D then i would choose a chainsaw.
but if they are normal zombies and are slow like in Resident evil, then a pitchfork would be good to fend em’ off.

what if the earth spins of it axle as it is so laden with sin, how are you going to fight that?

Kevlar arm plates and armoured gloves, tight-fitting clothes and close-cropped hair; best way to minimise the chances of being bitten.

As for weaponry, I’ll take a handgun (something with a large clip size like a beretta) and a titanium crowbar.

chainmail, a high point 9mm carbine, a glock, a hand axe and a sword. all light weight enough to be carried on person at all times, low maintenance, high reliability, large amounts of ammo available.

Definitely metal armor. When I run, I’m also training myself for running :O

Axe and chainsaw, grenades, accompanied with throwing knives, that way I don’t gotta worry about ammo.

emmmm maybe a few grenades and a flamethrower and maybe a katana aswell if it was CQ
